Bob's Feature Cartoon:

Hello again everyone - can another year really have passed so quickly? I'm bowled over by all your lovely messages. It is amazing what a supportive community has been created here at the fan site.
I would like to send a very special and sincere thank you to Marie-France, Beth and Don who run everything so smoothly and with such good grace. Looking back at the old editions of The Lark, I realize how spoiled I am to have my very own magazine-style newsletter - Oprah Winfrey eat your heart out!
Now that the Celtic Woman Greatest Journey CD and DVD are being released, I thought it might be fun to look back to the very first show at the Helix. I found these two backstage snaps - one when I was having my mic battery pack put on, and one with Máiréad and Orlagh just before the show began - happy memories!
It has been really rewarding for me to spend some time in Dublin planning my next musical moves and I have found some great new songs along the way. I look forward to sharing more exciting musical moments with you.
Yours always,
I also get a great kick out of reading all your posts so please keep them up!
May I wish a very happy first birthday to the forum, and also to the very grown-up three year old site!

Celtic Woman,
The Greatest
Journey Continues.
In 2005, five incredibly talented Irish musicians, collectively known as Celtic Woman, embarked on a musical journey which catapulted them to the heights of phenomenal success. Topping the Billboard World Music charts for over 90 consecutive weeks, selling more than 3 million CDs and DVDs with gold and platinum album certification, headlining three hit PBS television specials, and performing live onstage in front of over 800,000 fans, Celtic Woman has proven to be one of the brightest stars in the Irish music universe.
On October 28, 2008, Celtic Woman is releasing The Greatest Journey: Essential Collection on CD and DVD. This collection of Celtic Woman's most beloved and memorable songs will definitely delight old and new fans alike. The audio CD will include four newly recorded songs ( "The Call," "Pie Jesu," "Ave Maria," & "You Raise Me Up" backed by a gospel choir), plus two songs previously not included in CD format ("Somewhere" from the Live at Slane Castle DVD, and "Shenandoah" from the deluxe CD of A New Journey). A special behind-the-scenes documentary will also be included on the companion DVD.
Let the enchanting voices of Méav, Chloë, Lisa, and Orlagh (or newest members Lynn and Alex on a few selected numbers) along with the fiery fiddle of Máiréad transport you on a delightful musical journey with their traditional Irish songs, as well original compositions from musical director David Downes. The New York Daily News said: "The voices of Celtic Woman blend together so smoothly you might think these women have been harmonizing since they were in their cribs. They sing like angels, almost ethereal on their classical material yet equally adept at creating good fun with folksier numbers."
